Come & Eat (the “App”) is designed to support a private, personal rhythm with Scripture. This policy explains what information the App processes, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
1. Information we process
You do not need to create an account or provide your name, email address, or other direct contact information to use the App. To operate and improve the App, we may process limited technical and usage information. This may include a pseudonymous app or device identifier, device type, operating-system and App version, general region inferred from an IP address, feature interactions, and diagnostic metadata. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
2. Data stored on your device
App settings, reading goals or progress, and other preferences may be stored locally on your device. This information may also be included in an iCloud device backup if you enable that Apple feature. We do not receive locally stored content unless the App clearly asks you to share it or it is included in a support request that you choose to send.
3. Analytics and subscription services
We use Mixpanel to understand how App features are used and to improve reliability and design. We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, purchase status, entitlements, and restoration of purchases. These providers may process pseudonymous identifiers, technical information, usage events, and transaction or entitlement metadata on our behalf under their own privacy terms.
4. How we use and disclose information
We use limited information to:
- provide, maintain, and improve App features;
- recognize subscription access and restore purchases;
- understand feature usage and App reliability;
- troubleshoot problems and prevent misuse; and
- comply with legal obligations.
We may disclose information to the service providers described above, when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information or use it to serve third-party advertising.
5. Tracking and advertising
The App does not display third-party advertisements. We do not use advertising identifiers to track you across apps or websites for targeted advertising. Product analytics are used to understand the App itself, not to build advertising profiles.
6. Apple App Store
Apple distributes the App and processes App Store downloads, purchases, and subscriptions. Apple may collect information in connection with those services under Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your Apple ID or full payment information. RevenueCat may receive App Store transaction and entitlement data on our behalf so that the App can provide purchased features.
7. Children's privacy
Come & Eat is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us through the App's support channel.
8. Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, then delete or de-identify it where practical. Service providers may apply their own retention schedules. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information. You may submit a request through the support channel listed in the App or on its App Store page. You can remove locally stored App data by deleting the App, and you can manage or cancel an App Store subscription in your Apple account settings. Some information may need to be retained for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or security reasons.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the App evolves. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Questions or privacy requests can be sent through the support channel listed in the App or on its App Store page.
